A C E. to K I N G
The Effect
The Magician takes a stack of cards and counts off a card for each letter of
the words Ace to King, at the completion of each word, a card
is turned over of that value.
How It's Done
Separate all the cards of a single suit from the deck (the Ah - Kh for example).
Arrange the cards in this order: 3, 8, 7, A, Q, 6, 4, 2, J, K, 10, 9, 5. Hole
the pile face down, the 3 should be the top card.
Spell A C E, and for each letter move a card from the top of the deck to the bottom,
flip over the new top card, it's an Ace, lay it on the table.
Spell T W O, again moving a card from the top to the bottom for each letter, flip
over the two, and lay it on the table.
Repeat for three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, jack, and queen. After
the queen you will only have the king remaining, spell out king and flip it over.
